Preaching

Pastor Kellough has been preaching the Gospel for over 30 years. As one who stands in the office of a Prophet and currently serves the Body of Christ as a Pastor, his messages are not only anointed by the Holy Ghost, but are also dynamic in presentation. He is a Bible scholar who can skillfully weave a sermon from both the Old and New Testaments and deliver present truth revelation to those who desire to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Pet. 3:18) As a man of God he realizes that the mission of the church is to fulfill the Great Commission and concurs with the Apostle Paul who wrote in 1 Cor. 1:21 that it is through “the foolishness of preaching that God saves those who choose to believe.”

Wednesday Night Bible Study:

Every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm the saints gather together for a time of reflection and discussion. During this service questions are asked and comments are given about the message that was preached the previous Sunday. We, as the Lord’s sheep, are cud chewing animals that need a time to “re-chew” that which has been partially digested. It’s an intimate time to delve deeper into the Word as the Pastor expounds on his message and also a time to learn from the interaction of others.

Also Dr. Pat Hayes, an Apostle and Bible scholar, shares from his wealth of knowledge in Wednesday night services, as his schedule allows. He has served the Body of Christ for over 4 decades as a Pastor, theologian, musician and author. Bro. Pat and Pastor Kellough both contribute to the service by sharing insights from the Scriptures and effectively engage the congregation as the perfect complement to one another.

Home Bible Study:

Every other Friday evening at 7:00pm designated “host families” invite the saints into their homes for an informal gathering to “break the bread of life”. This is your opportunity to hear other anointed ministers from New Testament Church of the Firstborn preach and teach the messages the Lord has laid on their hearts. This casual fellowship allows people a welcoming atmosphere to hear the Gospel while enjoying one another’s company. It’s a great way to stay connected and develop relationships. Each host family also provides light refreshments.
