Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost and these three are one; the creator of all things, the eternal King, infinite, unchangeable, perfect in holiness, wisdom, goodness, justice and power. There are three which bear witness in the earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.1 John 5:7

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, living Word of God. It reveals God’s will for redemption, salvation and spiritual growth as is defined in the Kingdom of God. It is the final authority for our Christian faith and life.2 Tim.3:14-17

We believe that Jesus Christ was Immanuel, God manifested in the flesh, conceived by the Holy Ghost and born to the Virgin Mary. We embrace the belief that He is the one and only true God.Is. 7:14

We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His spiritual return in the saints and His physical return to the earth with His saints. We believe in salvation only through the cross and the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This new birth is the only way to be redeemed from sin and death. Acts 4:12, 2 Thess. 2:1, Rev. 19:11-16

We believe in water baptism by full immersion which must be entered into by all who truly repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.1 Cor. 12:13, Col.2:12, Rom. 6:3-6, Matt. 3:13

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost as the promise of the father empowering Christians to minister in the same works as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The baptism of the holy Ghost is a gift from God to endue the believers with power to live the Christian life and to minister with boldness and authority.

We believe the baptism of the Holy Ghost to be distinct from and subsequent to the new birth and it is accompanied by 9 Spiritual gifts operating in the Church, given severally to every man as God wills. Acts 2:38-39, 1 Cor. 12:1-9

We believe in the sanctification of the believers to follow a life of peace and holiness with all men, without which no man shall see the Lord; walking in the new man who after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Eph. 4:21-24, Heb. 12:14

We believe in the Divine manifestation and demonstration of the Holy Spirit, God bearing witness through the faith of the believers with signs, wonders, and divers’ miracles and in conjunction with the gifts of the Holy Ghost according to His Divine will. Mark 16:20

We believe in the new Covenant promised to Abraham, ratified by Jesus Christ the Son of God and fulfilled in the new birth to New Testament saints living and walking by grace, through faith to the end of this age. Gal. 3:14-29
